Conan O’Brien tour tips hat to Team Coco with North American live events

Comedian Conan O’Brien may have lost his coveted spot as host of “The Tonight Show” on NBC, but the funnyman still hopes to perform for audiences across North America. Skirting a clause in his parting agreement with the network that keeps him off television until after September 1, O’Brien has confirmed a 30-city spring tour that will keep him on the road from April through June.

The Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour launches April 12 at Hult Center for the Performing Arts in Eugene, OR, and concludes with a June 14 event at Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. One major stop for O’Brien is a June 11 slot on the comedy line-up for this year’s Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, TN.  Full Story…

Black Eyed Peas tour far from ‘The E.N.D.’ with new summer concerts

The chart-dominating Black Eyed Peas have announced dates for the second leg of their North American tour, even as the first leg continues.

With the help of their “Last Rodeo” tour, Brooks & Dunn reach the top of the event rankings

After announcing their breakup last summer, Brooks & Dunn will embark on their “Last Rodeo” North American tour in April. Tickets for that tour went on sale last Friday and now the duo are number three (power score 3.49) in TicketNews’s exclusive top events rankings for the week ending March 7.

Number one belongs to Wicked (4.81) and number two belongs to Paul McCartney (3.50), whose “Up and Coming” tour begins March 28 in Arizona. The Eagles make a big leap from number eight in the previous rankings to number four (3.27) in these. Taylor Swift follows at number five (2.68). Jay-Z stays at number six (1.87). James Taylor & Carole King added stops to their tour on Friday, giving them the number seven spot (1.82). Bon Jovi is number eight (1.74), while theater’s Lion King (nine, 1.71) and Michael Bublé (ten, 1.43) close out the overall top ten.   Full Story…

Sting tour adds more ‘Evening’ dates with Royal Philharmonic

A week after his last update, Sting has rolled out another batch of concert dates for his upcoming tour of North America.
