Ticket Summit Las Vegas, the nation’s “leading ticket conference and trade show for live entertainment professionals,” was buzzing with activity early today, July 14, as the three-day convention kicked off at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino.

The conference is in its fifth year at the Venetian, and organizers said more than 600 attendees have registered, the most pre-show registrants in the event’s history.  Full Story…

Paul McCartney has picked up the pace in plotting his summer 2010 itinerary. The legendary rocker, honored with the Gershwin Prize this week at the White House, nearly tripled the length of his on-going Up and Coming Tour with five new concerts.

The three new U.S. dates on the books are set for July 15 at Pepsi Center in Denver, CO; July 24 at Spring Center in Kansas City, MO; and August 18 at the opening of the new Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, PA.  Full Story…
